Protect Your Information and Avoid Becoming a Victim of Fraud!

For your security, never respond to emails, text messages, phone calls, or instant messages requesting:

  • Personal information (full name, identification number, date of birth, address, among others).
  • Financial or banking information.
  • Usernames and passwords for access to electronic banking channels.
  • Verification codes sent via SMS or email.
  • Access keys from your code card, physical token, or digital token.
  • Full debit or credit card numbers, expiration dates, or security codes (CVV).
  • Any other confidential information that could allow access to your financial products or services.

We recommend that you:

  • Always verify the sender’s email address before opening an email or clicking on a link.
  • Do not open attachments from unknown or suspicious senders.
  • Do not click on links requesting that you update your personal or banking information.
  • Use strong passwords and do not share them with third parties.

Popular Bank will never ask you via email, phone call, instant messaging applications, or any other digital channel to disclose passwords, security codes, access credentials, tokens, or confidential information related to your accounts.

If you receive suspicious communication, do not respond, do not provide any information, and report it immediately through the bank’s official channels, security starts with you.
